Katie currently serves as the Technology Integration Specialist for the Mount Vernon School District. Katie is the Professional Development Provider for the District through the WASA IPP grant and loves to work with teachers on how to intentionally plan and integrate UDL into the classroom to provide content that is available for all students. UDL and technology play a powerful role in student learning experiences and provide access/opportunities for all students. Katie was previously a middle school teacher for 12 years, provided professional development on technology through the district, NCCE and a Library of Congress grant for 4 years.
