Dr. Winston Benjamin holds a PhD in Multicultural Education Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington College of Education. His research interests examine how Black immigrants to the U.S.A. learn to navigate Racial discourse and leverage social power. He is currently the Beginning Educator Support Team (B.E.S.T.) facilitator for the Renton School District. Dr. Benjamin has 20 years of experience in education across the country, including New York, Boston and Seattle supporting teachers’ development and implementation of culturally responsive instructional practices.
