Learn About Gamification in a Gamified Way!

Come and play Classcraft while learning about Gamification taking the Quest-Based Learning (QBL) Gamification 101 course! You will get to choose from playing as a Guardian, Mage, or Healer while progressing through the course at your own pace. Will you earn the most XP and become the highest level person in the room? Come and test your skills and try your luck.

BYOD Needs:
Can access on phones but not the best. Chromebooks will work, Macs will work, Windows PC will work. Laptops will provide the best experience. NO download required; Classcraft is a web-based program.
Note: Be sure your electronic device has a fully charged battery as only limited power sources will be available.

Alfonso (Al) Gonzalez is a 5th and 6th grade STEM teacher from Chimacum Elementary School. Al has been teaching for 32 years! Al was the 2021 NCCE Outstanding Educator of the Year and a 2022 EPA Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators recipient. Al teaches in a 1:1 classroom and he has enhanced his curricula by getting grants for 26 of the 32 years he's been teaching and 24 of those were consecutive! Tammie Schrader is a science/computer science coordinator at Northeast Washington ESD 10. She serves 59 public schools in their science and computer science implementation. Tammie was a science teacher at Cheney Middle School, for 15 years. She taught Life Science as well as Computer Programming, Gaming Programming, Robotics as well as coaching the Science Olympiad Team, Robotics Club, SeaPerch Team as well as Future Business Leaders of America at her middle school. Tammie has her B.A. in Education and B.S. in Biology. She earned M.A. in Education and Teaching At Risk Students.
