Implementing an equitable Computer Science plan at the district level is a challenge, especially for rural school districts. In this session hear from Lincoln County School District’s Computer Science Lead and High School CS Teacher about how the district has created a path for all students to gain exposure to Computer Science concepts and acquire the computational thinking skills they will need for the college or career of their choice. In the session we will highlight the use of Exploring Computer Science Curriculum and the E-Textiles unit. Topics include: Equitable CS Plan; Hands-on, Culturally Relevant Curriculum; CTE and College connection.
