From Cybersecurity to Job Descriptions: Applications in the Future of Work

Wednesday, February 14, 1:00 pm–1:50 pm
Seattle Convention Center - 613

At first glance, ChatGPT, a generative AI tool, may seem like another lifeless, inconsequential cheat code to life's boring moments, but in reality, it can spread misinformation and ludicrous concepts and become a threatening weapon against humankind without proper supervision and control. "ChaosGPT," an autonomousGPT, is a dangerous AI that seems to be growing a human-like consciousness. If this AI is able to replace humans' jobs, then it could be a potential risk to society. ChatGPT has pushed far beyond writing a summative essay that would be impossible to trace. It's now embedded itself in the workforce and could even be the culprit in forming a job description for a position someone applied to. This panel will include audience discussion and covers topics ranging from in the classroom to the office, and provides a variety of tools and resources targeted to assist your students in high school and beyond to allow for valuable assets to a local and global community.
