Integrating robots into the elementary classroom can provide authentic and engaging ways for students to develop their Social-Emotional Learning, Computational Thinking, and content area skills. Teachers and coaches will learn about and explore a variety of robots that are appropriate for elementary age students.

Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri. She has her Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Texas-Arlington. She has worked in public education for 8 years in Missouri, Hawaii, Washington, and Nevada. Her classroom years were spent in intermediate grades. She currently works in the Edmonds School District as a Digital Learning Coach. Her passions include using technology as a tool for inclusion in the classroom.
