After seventeen years teaching elementary school I went looking for a change. A new world blossomed for me as a Technology Trainer and now I have the BEST jobs in the world! I get to inspire teachers and students every day with innovative new technologies that make their jobs as creators, writers, communicators, and global citizens more effective and exciting. I spend time creating solutions, promoting best practices, and encouraging life-long learning. What else? I am a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE), Flipgrid Student Voice Ambassador, Professional Learning Specialist with insight2execution (i2e), Edcamp Specialist, and Web Administrator for World Education Connection.

Mindy Pesicek Mindy Pesicek, Franklin High School

Mindy Pesicek has a masters in Special Education and a bachelors in both Biology and Philosophy. She has taught a diverse group of students from pre-school to college. Mindy has taught in 9 countries and is passionate in connecting students to explore different cultures. She believes every child has unique gifts that require specialized instruction to engage and motivate them. Technology is one tool that can reach across language barriers or ability level. My hope is for teachers to find more comfort in using technology to reach those in need.
