Personalized/Customized learning in a K-12 public school system will be addressed. Dr. Dillon will share the experiences of the Wilder School District and how to transform a traditional educational system into a student owned, personalized/customized, and competency-based system of empowered learners. In addition, key lessons learned along the journey will be shared, that have lead to the districts national innovation recognition from Apple.

Jeff Dillon, Wilder School District
Dr. Dillon has been serving as the Superintendent and Mid/High Principal at the Wilder School District in Wilder, Idaho. His schools have received national recognition for their innovation in teaching and learning. Strategic partnerships, technology, training, teacher empowerment and student ownership of learning, have allowed the schools to customize learning for all students K-12. Most recently, they were recognized as one of the 25 most innovative school districts in the nation.
