Integrating Coding and Virtual Reality into Literacy (WP32)

In this workshop, participants will learn various ways to integrate coding and virtual reality into their literacy classroom using Scratch and CoSpaces. I will highlight successful student projects to give participants ideas that they can incorporate into their curriculum. Participants of all levels will have the opportunity to learn each program and their relevant features. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be prepared to create their own custom projects.

|BYOD Needs:||Participants may use laptops or tablets for this presentation. We will using 2 web based programs: CoSpaces and Scratch. Please sign up for free accounts prior to the conference.
If you plan on using a tablet please also download Scratch Jr. We will be using this app very minimally and it is not necessary for the bulk of the session.
Note: Be sure your electronic device has a fully charged battery as only limited power sources will be available.
