Summary with a Twist! Deepen Student Learning with Summary and Tech! (HA51)

Do you want your students to move beyond passively receiving information to actively processing information? “Summarization” seems like “old hat” but it is a powerful practice that is sometimes forgotten. Learn how you can move your students from just being consumers of information to processors who then transform that information into knowledge that sticks. During this session, you will take away actionable strategies that you can use with students tomorrow.

|BYOD Needs:||Any device will work - a laptop or Chromebook will work best. We will be using Google Slides, Flipgrid, Adobe Spark, and "paper." If you use Microsoft products, you can download the Google Slide templates as PowerPoint.
Note: Be sure your electronic device has a fully charged battery as only limited power sources will be available.
