Join us for Appy Hour! This is a fun, informal session for primary educators looking for new strategies for using digital tools with their young learners. Learn about apps and websites created just for littles and HOW to use them for hands-on, student centered learning in the primary classroom. Enjoy snacks and conversation with your peers about meaningful media use while learning more about amazing digital learning tools available for children ages 4-7 for home and school.

Traci Piltz Traci Piltz, Billings Public Schools

After teaching kindergarten in both Arizona and Montana, Traci Piltz is now happy to share her experiences with teachers in her district as a technology integration specialist. She loves helping teachers and students innovate in their classrooms by using technology to learn, create and share with one another! Traci is an Apple Distinguished Educator Class of 2017, a PBS Early Learning Champion, a Google Certified Educator, and an Ambassador to Seesaw, Book Creator, Flipgrid and PicCollage. Outside of teaching, she is a wife and mom, and she loves watching baseball and New Kids on the Block concerts.

Nikki Vradenburg Nikki Vradenburg, Montana PBS

Nikki Vradenburg is the Director of Education and Technology Integration Specialist for MontanaPBS. She works with teachers in rural schools to successfully integrate technology in their classrooms. An educator since 2001, Nikki has taught K-5 students in a rural school for most of her classroom teaching career. She is a National Board Certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and is honored to have been a finalist for Montana Teacher of the Year in 2017. Nikki is also currently working on her Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction at Montana State University.
