Creating an Unplugged Coding Kit

Teaching coding for many educators is becoming more important and useful but how do you introduce it to younger students? Create your own unplugged coding kit! After this session you'll come away with countless ideas to get kids excited about coding, introduce computational thinking and algorithms and not break the bank.

Ray Birks is a father, husband and mountain biker. In his not too distant life, he was a 6th grade teacher for 13 years including a 1:1 iPad classroom for three years. After that he transitioned to his current role as an Instructional Technology Facilitator with the Wenatchee School District. He is a Google Certified Trainer and specializes in Google products and 1:1 classrooms.
